Website

I've started my website as I decided it was going to be on my band as we don't have a website as yet. I thought this would be a good idea because we already have a myspace and email address that I could provide links to on the website. We also have some videos uploaded on youtube that I could link to, or even put a video on my webpage. I have lots of ideas for this, but now I just have to put them into action!

Dream Weaver

So I learnt how to use dreamweaver the other day. I found it not too challenging, although I'm sure that I'm going to hit a couple of brick walls when trying to create my website. But I guess i'll just have to wait and see.

Things are well under way now. I am creating a Free Exhibition catalogue for young contemporary artists. My booklet will contain photosgraphs and discriptions of the artists work, with an artist statement and biography. I have the basic structure all planned out now I just have to get to work on the contents!

I have narrowed down my ideas and I think I am going to create an exhibition catalog/invitation. I am going to make it in a sort of book form, although I found it quite difficult last week when trying to create a book in InDesign. I'm finding it quite challenging to come up with a starting point as I am not very fluent with InDesign and need to explore and experiment to become more familiar with the program.  

I have been thinking about what I am going to do for my publication, I was thinking maybe a magazine double spread, but am still unsure. I also liked the idea of making a calender. At the moment I am just throwing some ideas around.
